This video from LearnElectrics will help you to understand how to use the Wiring Regulations book and how to quickly and easily find the correct answers to the questions in the 18th Edition, Amendment 2 exam.
Here, there are just ten exam style questions and we look in detail at how to find where the answer is, how to pick out the keywords from the question and how to use the book to best effect. These are important skills that will help you to pass your exam, if properly applied, and will also help in your professional on-site work too.
In this video, we have taken one question from each part of the book, including the appendices and table of tables and then broken down the method to find the answer. This method works and it is infinitely better than flicking through all 600 plus pages of the book and just hoping that it falls open on the correct page.
For example, we show you how to quickly find the keywords in every question, how to rapidly find where that information is and on what page number to look.
The exam is not about remembering the answers
The exam is in fact, testing you to see if you can find the answers in the book, a much more useful skill.
