Have you ever been on site and wondered if you have enough cable to finish the job.

If you have enough cable then you could have this job wrapped up in 2 hours.

If not, it’s a two hour drive, at least, to the wholesalers and back and another late finish.

But how long is the cable on that part reel in the back of the van?

Is there an easy and reliable method of finding out without unrolling the whole thing.

Well, yes there is.

This video will show you how to calculate the length of a cable by simply measuring the resistance.

And what if you are on site and want to know the length of a cable that is already installed?

This can be invaluable if you are trying to trace cables in a building; you can confidently eliminate certain cables and save yourself a lot of time and frustration.

We show you the very simple formula to do this, where to find the information in the book and how to put the two together to make it all work.
