In this video from Learn Electrics we take a look at the types of electrical certificates that should be issued after different levels of electrical work.
But simply issuing an electrical certificate is not the end of our obligations to the customer. There are in fact several pieces of paper that should form part of the pack of documentation that you hand over.
And then there is the issue of Part P of the Building Regulations. Who issues a Part P certificate? And which work is notifiable to the Local Authority and which is not?
But even that is not clear cut, depending on which UK country the work is carried out in, will determine which work must be notified. Fortunately, this is easy to unravel and once understood will be remembered for ever.
