A 2 way lighting circuit is to be found in almost every domestic dwelling, factory or commercial premises.
They are incredibly easy to wire up, but they do however cause some confusion – until they are properly understood.
We go through step by step how to wire up a 2 way lighting circuit in compliance with the Electricians Guide to the Building Regulations, how to convert one way lighting to two way, and then look at the voltage and current flow around the circuit when alternate switches are operated.
After watching this video you will be much more confident about wiring up this type of 2 way lighting circuit, it really is very simple if you follow the basics and your fault finding skills may improve too.
